The competitors were judged using the Ranked Component system as defined by Section 506 of IFAB's Rules of Footbag Sports.

Freestyle was held early Sunday morning in front of a stage near one of the Wildflower! festival entrances. Wildflower! allowed us the use of the stage's sound system and provided a DJ for the afternoon. Open and intermediate players competed in one round - open players were given one and a half minutes for their routines while the intermediate players were given one minute.
